i.Dental
i.Dental is a dental clinic in Singapore.
i.Dental is a group dental practice in Singapore with three clinics — at Tanjong Pagar in the CBD, at Ubi in the east, and at Yishun in the north. Working under the philosophy of “Designing Smiles, Defining Confidence,” the practice provides everyday family dentistry alongside cosmetic and specialist-led treatment, so patients across the island can be seen close to home or work by the same group.
The team covers general and preventive dentistry, orthodontics with braces and Invisalign, dental implantology, paediatric dentistry, laser dentistry and dental extractions. i.Dental is known in particular for clear-aligner treatment: it counts accredited Invisalign providers among its dentists, and its founder has held consultant and faculty roles with Align Technology, the maker of Invisalign.

Braces and Invisalign
Orthodontic treatment straightens crowded, spaced or protruding teeth and corrects how the upper and lower teeth meet. i.Dental offers both fixed braces and clear aligners such as Invisalign, for teenagers and adults alike. If you are weighing up your options, our guides on braces versus Invisalign and typical braces and Invisalign costs in Singapore explain how the two approaches compare on comfort, appearance and price.
Dental implants, crowns and bridges
For missing or badly damaged teeth, the practice provides dental implants as well as crowns and bridges to restore how teeth look and function. Implant treatment is planned around your bone, gum health and general health, and is usually staged over a few months to allow healing between placement and the final restoration.
General and family dentistry
Routine check-ups, scaling and polishing, fillings and gum care make up the day-to-day of any practice, and i.Dental sees patients of all ages for these. Regular visits let small problems — a little decay, early gum inflammation, a worn filling — be picked up and treated before they become painful or expensive.
Paediatric dentistry
Children are welcome across the group, and a positive early experience helps them grow up comfortable with the dentist. Care ranges from first visits and prevention through to fillings and guidance as adult teeth come through; our guide to children’s dentistry in Singapore covers what to expect at a young patient’s appointment.
Laser dentistry and extractions
i.Dental also offers laser dentistry for selected soft-tissue and treatment procedures, and carries out routine and surgical tooth extractions, including wisdom teeth. If you have sudden pain, swelling or a knocked-out tooth, see our guidance on handling a dental emergency.

Meet the dentists
Dr Cheng Eng Wah is the founder and principal surgeon of i.Dental. He focuses on Invisalign and orthodontic treatment, dental implantology and laser dentistry, and has held consultant and faculty roles with Align Technology since 2016. Dr Cheng E Sheen is a dental practitioner at the group whose interests span general dentistry, orthodontics, paediatric dentistry, laser dentistry and dental extractions, with hospital training in London that included complex maxillofacial and surgical-extraction cases.
What to expect at your visit
A first visit usually starts with your dental history and any concerns, followed by an examination and, where needed, X-rays or a scan. The dentist explains what they find, sets out the options with their pros, cons and typical costs, and answers your questions so you can decide without pressure. Complex treatment such as implants or orthodontics is often staged over several appointments, with reviews along the way to check progress and healing.
Booking and fees
You can book directly with the i.Dental branch that suits you best by calling the number listed above. Fees vary with the treatment and the individual case and are not quotes — always confirm current charges with the clinic. For certain surgical procedures, such as surgical extractions or some implant-related surgery, MediSave may be applied within the prevailing limits, while routine work like check-ups, fillings, scaling and cosmetic treatment is generally paid out of pocket or through private or employer dental insurance. If you have a dental plan, check what it covers and whether a pre-treatment estimate is required.
Choosing a dental clinic
When deciding where to have treatment, it helps to weigh up location and opening hours, the range of services offered, whether the dentists are registered with the Singapore Dental Council, and how clearly the clinic explains your options and costs. A group practice like i.Dental — with clinics at Tanjong Pagar, Ubi and Yishun — can be convenient if you want to be seen near home or work, or to continue care at more than one location.
